Why I write

Writing isn't just about putting words on paper. It's an art. When I write, I get my feelings out. But most of all, I reflect God's glory. When we write for a purpose, everything changes. It's not about "me". It's about Jesus. It's not about the glory. It's about Jesus' glory. Our life should not revolve around ourselves. Our life should revolve around the fact that Jesus came and redeemed me by grace. This is not of my own works, it's a gift from God. This does not make us better, or more important, or special in any way. It just means that we have a purpose, and that purpose is the greatest purpose: Giving the glory to God through our work.

About Me

laura1.jpg

Hello! I'm so glad you're here. I'm a twelve year old Texan who loves her sweet tea, books, and most of all, my writing. I believe that our words are powerful; that's why I started Redeemed by Grace, a place where I reflect God's glory through my writing.
